Animality Studies@CSU is an interdisciplinary,
collaborative project that seeks to highlight the
strengths of Colorado State University faculty and
programs in relation to the cultural study of animals
and animality.
Sponsored by the Department of English and based within the College of Liberal Arts, our goals include:
- publicizing relevant courses to students at CSU;
- creating and facilitating a community of interested faculty;
- providing resources and announcements related to animality studies;
- publicizing animality studies as an area of strength to prospective students and interested scholars outside CSU;
- providing a platform for developing collaborative research projects in this area;
- and coordinating future efforts to develop lecture series and conferences that will exhibit this area of strength to local as well as national and international audiences.
